DOMINION CHIROPRACTORS

ANNUAL CONFERENCE. The sixth annual conference of the New Zealand and Australian Chiropractors’ Association (Inc.) was held recently at Dunedin. The president. Mr J. A. Scott, was in the chair, and representatives from all parts of the Dominion were present. Thq report showed that the membership had increased during the year and the balance sheet disclosed a credit balance of £9O/6/5.: Mrs D. Pierce, Mr R. V. Lorencen, and Mr and Mrs Cowper Moore .Tones were elected members of the Association. , Many matters of practical interest to the profession were discussed, the most important of which was a cooperative tnsurance'scheme which had been drafted by the President. With one or two amendments the scheme was unanimously adopted. The following were elected officers for the year:—President and Secrets ry, Mr J. A. Scott; vice-presidents, Messrs J. P. Colwill and J. Williamson; Treasurer, Mr J. Craig; Committee, fl Mrs W. Kemble Welch, Messrs T. Giles, T. G. Kinney, A. H. Thomson and D. Toung. The president, Mr J. A. Scott, who is leaving shortly on a trip to England and Europe, was presented with a suit case and a travelling rug. It was decided that the next conference should be held at Wellington.
