BARQUENTINE DRIVEN ASHORE

The Finnish barquentine Favllle was driven ashore on a sandbank at Port Phillip during a storm last night, and remained there for eight hours before being discovered 3i miles from Queenscllff. Heavy seas were running and there was danger of their battering the big deck cargo. A number of tugs are standing by.
