A meeting, called by the R.S.A* was very largely attended last night and addressed by the Mayor, Mr. 0. B. Cllnkhard, tho Rev, J. Affen, and Captain Sumner. It passed a resolution of protest, which was wired t# the Minister of Justice. Bums,.# very severely wounded man, loses hi# pension through his conviction.
