MEAT PRICES STILL DECLINE
The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board has received the following cable from its London office, dated November 27, 1925, advising Smithfield delivered prices at that date as follows. (Prices for November 13 are also shown): —New Zealand wethers and maidens: Canterbury quality, selected brands, 56 and under, 7id (8d) per lb.; other brands, 56 and under 7d (7id) per lb.; New Zealand ewes, 64 and 'under, 4 7-8 d (5 5-8 d) per lb.; New Zealand lamb; Canterbury quality, 36 and under, lid (113 d) per lb.; other brands, Ist. quality, 42 and under, 9d (10id) per lb.; seconds, 9d (10jd) per lb.; New Zealand beef: ox fores, 4sd (4|d) per lb.; ox hinds, 4£d (sd) per lb.; Argentine chilled beef: ox fores, 4 l-8d (5) per lb.; ox hinds, 5 5-Sd (7d) per lb.
