ELECTION OF CONTROL BOARD

CONFERENCE POSTPONED. As the result of a number of protests made by Dairy Company directors and others against the holding of a conference in January for the purpose of deciding the method of electing the Board, it has evidently been decided to hold the conference at a later date.

Amongst the objecting companies was the Morrinsvillo Dairy Company, and the secretary of this company, Mr. J. D. Faulkner, has received the following letter from the secretary of the Dairy Produce Board: — “Further in reply to your letter of the 12th inst., I have conferred with Mr. Grounds and he has asked mo to advise‘you that no conference will be held in January, and that later a decision will be come to regarding th e conference, which will provide for th e most suitable time for the industry generally.”
