OVERSEAS STEAMERS WAINUI, which is leaving. Auckland on December 21 and 28, will proceed only to Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne and on the return trip to Auckland will call at Gisborne omitting Napier. The Union Company’s new steamer Kaponga, left Montreal on November 5 for Sydney direct. MAHANA leaves , Auckland tomorrow for Port Chambers to complete discharge- of her London cargo and will then load at Lyttelton, Gisborne, Napier and Wellington. , The vessel is due at Wellington on January and sails for London on January G. PORT HOBART is duo to leave Lyttelton for Wellington to-day arriving at Wellington to-morrow morning to continue loading for London. The Union Company’s new cargo steamer, KJWITEA, of 2350 tons gross, is now en route from Tampico -to Sydney with a cargo or asphaltum. The vessel left the Mexican: port on October 24, for Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Du e at Auckland on Friday, CANADIAN CHALLENGER, now loading at. Napier where she leaves to-mor-row,, leaves Auckland on Saturday for New York, Boston and Halifax. MANUKA leaves Melbourne on Saturday for Hobart, proceeding front there on Monday to' Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. The vessel loaves Wellington for Melbourne direct on December 15. Due at Wellington on Saturday, the C and D Line steamer, PORT PIRIE, left Auckland for Napier last Saturday. The vessel is en route from New York. The Shaw Savil and Albion Company’s steamer, MIAMOA, arrived at Auckland on Sunday from Liverpool, via Cape Town and Australia. The vessel leaves Auckland to-morrow for Wellington where she is due on Friday. PORT BOWEN was due at Wellingtonton yesterday morning to continue discharge of her cargo from Liverpool. -On Thursday the vessel sails for 'Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. En route from Calcutta to ■ South American porta, the cargo motor ship, ALLYN BANK, Is reported to be fixed to coal at Wellington. TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO STEAMER Trans-Pacific Cargo. Steamers The Union Co. announce the following movements of trans-Paclfic cargocarrying steamers: ■ The Hanraki, from Vancouver and San Francisco, left Fanning Island on November. 2,1 and is due at Auckland next Friday. She afterwards will proceed to Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. The Waihemo, from Vancouver and San Francisco, arrived at Wellington on Friday and sailed on Saturday for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth to complete discharge. The Wairuna, from Fiji was due at Vancouver on Saturday. The Waitemata left Nelson on Friday for New Plymouth to comp'ete discharge of her cargo from the -Pacific coast. She afterwards will proceed to Westport for hunkers, and from thence to Lantoka to load sugar for Vancouver. The Sierra Nevada (chartered steamer) from San Francisco was due at Auckland on Saturday and will proceed thence to Wellington to complete discharge. The Luciston (chartered steamer), from Vancouver, is due at Melbourne on December 6. and afterwards will

proceed to Sydney to complete discharge. , The Willaston (chartered steamer), left Apia on November 20) for San Francisco where she is due on December IT. To Load on Pacific Coast.

The Wairuna will load at Pacific coast ports early in December for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The Willaston will road only at San Francisco in ,the middle of December for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. The Waiotapu will load late in December and early in January for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The Waitemata will load during January for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth.
