Good progress was being made with the North Shore bridge across the har hour from Circular Quay to Milson s Point and it was anticipated completion would he reached within the con. tract time of five years. Underground railway construction was also going ahead and this was destined to he a great blessing, as the traffic congestion in Sydnev was as bad as anywhere in the world.
