December 1, 1844: Alexandra eldest daughter of Christian IX of Denmark, born. March 10, 1893: At 19 years married to Edward, Prince of Wales. January 8, 1864: Birth of eldest son, the late Prince Albert Victor Christian Edward, Duke of Clarence. June 3, 1865: Birth of second son, now George V. February 20, 1867: Birth of daughter, Princess Royal, Louise Victoria Alexander Dagmar, Dowager Duchess of Fife.
July 6, 1868: Birth of second daughter, Princess Victoria Alexander Olga Mary. November 26, I 860: Birth of third daughter, Maud Charlotte Mary Victoria, now Queen of Norway. January 14, 1892: Death of eldest son, the Duke of Clarence. January 22, 1901: Her husband, Edward Prince of Wales succeeds his mother on the Throne afs Edward VII. August 9, 1902: Coronation, postponed from June 26, 1902, celebrated with traditional splendour at Westminster Abbey.
May 6, 1910: Death of Edward VH. George V ascends to the throne and Queen Alexandra as Queen Mother, retires to Sandringham Lodge.
