At the annual meeting of the Fellding Chamber of Commerce, the following resolution was carried on the motion of Mr W. E. Cobbe and while regretting his departure from Feilding, offers sincere good wishes for his prosperity.” The esperanto class in Feilding is prospering and members of the Club recently met together and conducted an interesting debate on Prohibition. The discussion was carried on in Esperanto and the speeches were of considerable merit One hundred and sixty boxes of strawberries were picked at Petty’s strawberry acres yesterday. Business in Feilding, particularly In the motor Industry is by no means slack. Yesterday, one firm completed the eleventh car sale for the month of November —Even boom times could not produce such a record. There was talk yesterday of the possibility of Feilding being included In the districts which are to be rewarded with a reduction in fire premiums as from January Ist next.
