Settlers and others interested are reminded of the children’s fancy dress ball to be held at thle Hall, Colyton. on Friday evening next, commencing at 6.45 p.ra. The children in fancy dresses will have the floor first from the commencement until 9 p.m., when dancing will be available for adults. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Reed returned to Feilding yesterday by the Main Trunk express from Richmond, Nelson.
The Feilding Bowling Club’s annual meeting is to be held in the library this evening at S p.m. Intending members are invited.
This evening, at the Drill Hall, a dance will be held in aid of the St. Brigids’ Building Fund and preparations have been made for the reception of a large gathering. In connection with the recent Plunkct ball, the net profit was approximately £44 7/-, the total receipt being £9l 18/8, and the expenses £47 18/1.
