“THE CREATION.”

Good ochestral work always appeals to a Palmerston North audience, and this in its best form is given by the big and efficient orchestra that is assisting with Haydn’s "Creation” on Wednesday . Then the choral work is being interpreted by the combined Choral and Orpheus Societies. Add to this the fact that Madam Amy Woodward is singing the soprano solos. Mr Arthur Ripley, of Auckland the tenor and Mr William Watters the bass, and there will bo presented a programme of musical excellence that has never been surpassed in this town. In numbers the performance stands high, and the months ot practice that have passed will ensure a standard of musical performance that will suitably interpret the great work. A few seats arc still available at G. H. Bennett’s book shop.
