The question of the right to kill in order to end hopeless suffering has for the third time in a few months been answered in the affirmative by a French jury. The latest case is that of the widow of a station-master near Orleans, who was stricken by an Incurable disease. Tho couple decided they should die together. The wife built up a charcoal fire, sealed up tho room and lay down to die by her husband’s side. Several hours later the neighbours broke fn just in time to save the but tho husband was dead. The woman was charged with murder but .the jury unanimously acquitted her.
