WELLINGTON WINTER SHOW

The schedule for the forthcoming Wellington Winter Show, which has been widely distributed, is a most comprehensive one, and contains sections for fat stock, milking contests, pigs, butter and cheese, hunters’ competitions, sheep dog trials, potatoes, field roots, vegetables, fruit, honey, homo industries, wine and fancy work and knitting (both for adults and children), photography (open and amateur), fleece wool, forestry, etc. Entries in all classes were fixed to close on Saturday, July It, On the present occasion the Show will bo held in the Pipitea Shed of the Wellington Harbour Board, which contains over 81,000 square feet of floor space, in conjunction with the Dominion Exhibition of the Wellington Industrial Association, and will extend from July 30th to August 15th, which embraces a portion of the time that the American Fleet will be in Wellington Harbour. Special arrangements arc being made by the Railway Departfnent for excursion fares to Wei lington from all parts of the North Island during the period of the Show.
