No improvement of condition has been shown by Mr A. Woolford who was admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital on Saturday suffering from injuries received in an accident near Huntervillc.

Mr F. J. Mackloy. North Island locomotive superintendent of the N.Z.R. was in Palmerston North yesterday on departmental business and later proceeded to Wanganui, whence he goes on to Hawera and New Plymouth. Mr J. A. Jones, of Upper Hutt railway staff, has been appointed stationmaster at Tuakau, 35 miles south of Auckland. He was in the same regiment as the Prime Minister and also gained the Military Cross for gallantry on the Western Front in the Great War.

An Indian Prince, the Maharaj Rana Sir Bhawani Singh Bahadur, of Thalawar, arrives at Auckland from Sydney by the Aorangl on July G and will tour the 'Dominion as the guest of the Government. From Auckland he will proceed to Rotorua, then to Hamilton, the Ruakura State Farm, the Waitomo Caves, Te Kuiti, Wellington, then Christchurch and possibly Queenstown. He will leave Wellington toward the end of July for the United States.

Collinson and Cunninghame’s tearooms have added a further attraction in the "Collinghame Trio.” The three instrumentalists, under the aide leadership of Miss Hancock, will play every afternoon and will be a source of great enjoyment to all tfcose who listen to them. Collinson and, Cunninghame’s tea-rooms are well-known as being the prettiest tea-rooms in Palmerston North.
