CHILDREN’S FANCY DRESS BALL.

On Friday evening at the Drill Hall, St. John’s annual children’s fancy dress ball will be held and judging from the attendance at the weekly rehearsals' there will be a large gathering of little ones, all arrayed in various costumes. People will recall the success which attended the last year’s event, when so many children provided a most entertaining evening whilst they themselves enjoyed every moment of the dancing Many new costumes will be seen on Friday evening and a' capable committee has arranged a first class programme. The children will have the lloor from 7 p.m. until 9.30 p.m., when adults may join in the dancing.
