RUGBY PROGRAMMES.

FOR WINTER SHOW MATCHES. SUPPLEMENT OP OLD AND NEW PREMIERS. The Rugby program for the Whiter Show matches is a neat 16-page publication nicely illustrated. The coverdesign Is the striking picture of Nopia kicking, foot high in air, his placer (C. G. Porter) and himself expectantly watching the flight of the ball. Together with the vital statistics of the New Zealand team 1925 is the Manawatu Rugby Football Union program’s special photo. A caricature of a scene on any ground whore there arc partisans, and a try is scored, is most amusing and true as true. The All Blacks 1924 picture appears with the team's figures as no doubt many will wish some permanent record for ready reference. The opening gamp of the Winter Show trio, Wednesday’s, being a Palmerston North Boys’ High School flutter, Law’s picture is reproduced for the benefit of those outside ‘‘Old Boys" of the School who will he present. Changed blocks for Thursday and Saturday will include a fac-sirnilo of Deans’ famous telegram to the Daily Mail and a balance-sheet, by an English cartoonist, of the All Blacks v England game on January 3rd last. The Manawatu representatives appear in Thursday’s issue and Kia Toa —1 924 champions—in Saturday’s. Inset with every program issued will bo 12 x 10 art pictures of the late Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey and the new Prime Minister (the Right Hon. J. G. Coates). Their suitability for framing may bo proved by inspecting two framed pictures in the window of Messrs. Goldfinch and Cousins at whose establishment in Coleman Place the program may be purchased from to-morrow morning np to noon on Wednesday. For the convenience of Fcildingitos 100 copies will bo available at the Old Boys—Fcilding game at Fcilding to-morrow. Published at sixpence there can bo little (if any) margin of profit in it and it is understood the idea is to popularise the program for the forthcoming representative matches in August and September. For the proportion of interesting Rugby matter to advertisements no union is getting out a program in which patrons arc given so much information, Saturday teams. WESTERN UNITED.
