NEW HALF-HOLIDAY.

Since Feilding has once again decided on flic weekly half-holiday being observed on Saturday, the Question has been raised as to when the change will be made. From inquiries made yesterday, it appears that the statute governing the question directs that the change shall be gazetted within three months of the talcing of the poll, so that official intimation of the change may come at any time. The local authority has notified the Minister of Internal Affairs and it is thought that (ho change-over may bo fixed for the first week in Juno.
