TENIKOIT CLUB.

TENNIS QUOITS AT SHOWGROUNDS TO-DAY.

The Palmerston North Tenikolt Club inaugurates its first winter season at the Produce Hall, A. and P. Showgrounds this afternoon at 2.30 p.m. The club owes its origin to Mr H. N. Watson and he has worked so assiduously in its interests that already 49 members have been enlisted. These Include the leading men and lady tennis players of the district, including our Davis Cup asplrahf, E. D. Andrews, his brother and the Palmerston North lady champion, Mrs Smith. The game is reported to be a very strenuous one and those who negotiate a full winter season will certainly make their presence felt in the 19252C tennis season.
