NOTES OF THE DAY.
During April, 9 births, 4 deaths and 3 marriages were recorded in Feilding. For the previous month, 20 births, 6 deaths and 4 marriages were recorded. Eight buiiding permits, representing a total value of £1097, were issued by the Feilding Borough Council during the past month. The Wellington price for first grade eggs yesterday was 3/2 a dozen and the short supply locally making the article dearer. During the six months ended March 31, the Utility Egg Circle sold 26,058 dozen eggs which realised £2,208 19/3.
