SERIOUS ASSAULT IN DUNEDIN
UNKNOWN VICTIM DIES IN HOSriTAIi. AN ARREST MADE. [Per Press Association.l DUNEDIN, Last Night. A disturbance took place in Cumberland street at about 7.15 this evening, when a man is alleged to have knocked another down and kicked him. As a result, the assaulted one died in hospital. Deceased’s identity is not known, but he is believed to be a visitor from Cromwell, age about 45. Detectives arrested the man who is alleged to have committed the assault late to-night.
