CHORAL SOCIETY
A very acceptable entertainment will be staged at the Palmerston North Opera House to-morrow (Christmas) evening, when the Choral Society will give a programme including choruses from "The Messiah/’ one of which will be "The Hallelujah Chorus,” while Christmas carols will also be sung. The Society will bo assisted by four well-known artists in Misses Bartlett and Upton, and Messrs McLeavey and Rowbotham.
