JOHNSONVILLE SALE
Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd. and Wright Stephenson and Co. Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale held yesterday: A good yarding of lambs for the Christmas trade came forward Init not many sheep and cattle were yarded. A good sale resulted although the iambs hardly made their value, the quality heinj not quite up to the mark. Beef sold freely. We quote:—• Bullocks, £l2 7/6, £l3, £l3 7/6 £l3 10/-, £l3 15/.. £l4 £l4 10/- to £l4 15/-; wethers £2 £2 0/6, £2 2/- to £2 4/6; ewes, 30/3, 37/- to 38/-; lambs, 28/., 29/6, 30/-. 32/3, 33/6, 34/-, 37/-, 39/-. to £2.
