In the Supreme Court, William Alexander Dickie .Duncan, for theft at Wanganui was sentenced to eighteen months' hard labour. Sydney Charles Leckie, for breaking, entering and theft, received two years’ reformative. Allan Cameron McPhco and George Edward Charlton, came up for sentence for indecent assault on a male, Charlton who was said to be mentally weak, had a fit in the dock. He was sentenced to throe years’ detention, and Sir Robert Stout said he would recommend the prisoner’s examination, with a view to . his detention in an asylum.
