(Received Saturday 1.30 a.m) SYDNEY, December 19. In connection with the forged notes case, when detectives raided a racecourse. Tonkins was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment and Jacobson to four years for forging, and Wright to eighteen months for uttering the notes, of which £3OOO worth was found in their possession.
