POOR ALBANIA

The Italian Government has despatched two units to Albanian waters, in consequence of the disquieting situation in Albania, which, according to the latest official news received in London, is being invaded on three sides by irregulars. Fighting is still proceeding in the Kossovo prefecture. On being questioned in the Commons, ’Mr Austen Chamberlain said the British Government was aware or the inherent danger in any Balkan disturbance and that the Jugo-Slav and Italian Goverments had recently assured him that they would not spare any efforts to localise the disturbances.
