MUSGROVE CELEBRITY VAUDEVILLE.
At the Opera House on Monday and Tuesday next, Mr R. A. Shepard will present another new and complete company of Musgrove Celebrity Vaudeville, direct from the Trfoli Theatre. Sydney, and as seen in the Palladium, London, and Hippodrome, New York. Mr Shepard has a pormanet Tivoli Theatre in Wellington, and also three complete companies of Musgrove Vaudeville permanently established In the Dominion, and regular visits will be played in Palmerston, when only the cream of the world’s vaudeville acts will be presented. The management intend to make the name of Musgrove a sufficient guarantee to amusement ‘lovers, that they will see only the best This new company is headed by a comedienne, of International reputation, Renie Riano, who comes direct from starring in'thc ‘Music Box Revue London. It, is said that Miss Riano’s work and frocking will be a revelation to theatregoers. She, is also the possessor of a pair of limbs of remarkable beauty, which are insured for £20,000. Another London act. direct from the Palladium is Soli, a remarkable novelty instrumentalist Guilly and Jeanny arc a couple of amazing Continental acrobats. Don Stuart, la billed as the high and mighty magician as there is 6ft 4in of him. A charming trio of musical maids are Clare Solly, contralto, Dallas Fraser, ’cellist and Adonla Aiken,pianist. Les Petit,lTotos troupe arc seen in sensational acrobatic offerings. The Alton sisters appear “on the silver wire'* and Colino is said to be (ho acme of digital dexterity. A fascinating turn Is provided by the five Royal Rarotonga.ns in native music and dances. The box plans for the two nights open on Thursday at Oates’ music store.
