ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES

At about 11.45 o’clock on Friday night, a large motor-car driven by Mr J B. Gaisford. of Bulls, collided with an iron electric light post in the centre of Clyde quay, Wellington, near the taxi-stand. Th e impact damaged th 0 radiator of the car. buckled the bonnet, and shattered the wind-screen Mr Gaisford and a companion were badly cut about the head, but after receiving medical attention, were able to proceed to their homes in a taxioar, Mr Gaiqford’s oar was too badly damaged to be taken away that night
