AN APPRECIATION.
THE LATE MRS. GEO, T.VNES. At the morning service at St. At.diew's Church yesterday, fie Rev. G. T. Brown made reference to the recent death of the late Mrs. George Innes, of Broad Street, Palmerston North, in these terms: “ Again we have to record the going home of one of the oldest members of this congregation, Mrs. George Innes, of Broad Street. She was a veritable mother in Israel who served the cause of Chris; in this place in the strength of her wcmanhood, and even ir. the feebleness ot old age, never lost her interest in the things of God. She abundantly exemplified the truth that the hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness. Rich with the blessings of a. devoted life and full of years of unselfish service, she has been gathered to her fathers and called unto the glory of her Lord.”
