AUCKLAND SYNOD.
APPEALS FOR BIBLE IN SCHOOL. * AND FAIR DIVISION OF PROFITS. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Last Night. The Anglican Diocesan Synod resolved that it earnestly commends to the Parliament and people of the Dominion the legislation proposed lasl session to provide religious instruction in State schools. After a long discussion, dt was resolved on the voices that the Synoa approves the principle that the active service of Labour is justly and-equit-ably entitled to some measure of control in and some share in the profits of industry after the paying of fair rates of interest for the non-active service of capital, and the Synod urges members to support and use every means in their power to get placea on the Statute Book the Companies Empowering Bill, introduced by the Premier in last session, which wilt enable companies to bring into effect the above principle.
