JOHNSONVILLE SALE.
Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonville fat stock sale, held on Wednesday, 17th inst., as follow:—A small yarding of. sheep and cattle was offered to a medium attendance of butchers'. All stock was showing the effect of the rough weather experienced for the last few days.and prices were low, compared with recont quotations, as a result. We quote: Best.cows £3 to £9 10/; lighter £7, £7 15/ to £8; woolly wethers 37/6 to 38/3, shorn wethers 32/; shorn maiden ewes 83/ to 34/; shorn f.m. owes 30/6, 31/, 31/6 to 33/; lighter 26/6 to 28/6; spring lambs 24/, 24/3, 24/6 to 29/; lighter 20, 22/, to 23/3,
