An expedition, led by Capt. Warslcy, who was associated with Shackleton's expeditions, and comprising: 70 scientists and sportsmen, will leave England in December. The itinerary includes British Guiana, the Paciflo Islands, New Zealand, Australia, Malay States and Ceylon. The expedition will be devoted principally to„ scientific educational purposes. Ocean so.undings will be taken, and doubtful charting data will bo checked. Expeditions will be made to the minor Pacific Islands, and the life and customs of the natives studied and filmed. The Fly River, in New Guinea, will be surveyed. In New Zealand films will bo taken illustrative of the city and country life of the people. It is proposed to take films of the sugar plantations in Queensland, also of stock-raising and pearl fishing. Experiments will bo made with u'nder-water photographs, and part of the time will be devoted to big game hunting.
