FOSTER, OF THE TREVESSA.
PRESENTATIONS AT LIVERPOOL [By Electric Cable —Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] ■ LONDON, Oct. 17. Captain Foster, the skipper of the Trevessa, was the recipient at the Liverpool Town Hall of a silver saTver, the gift of the Imperial Merchant Guild, and also an aneroid barometer from the Shipwrecked Mariners' Benevolent Society. The Lord Mayor, in making the presentation In the presence of a large gathering of shipmasters and officers and their wives, paid a tribute to the marvellous pluck, skilful navigation and discipline which brought the Trevessa's crew through.
