MEN SEEK CONFERENCE. [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The “Press” says: “We understand there has been a new development in the coal mining trouble on the West Coast. The miners, through their ’organisation, and in conjunction with the Labour members of Parliament, are asking the Government to arrange a conference between their representatives and the represntatives of the owners.”
