STRIKE ENGINEERED BY EXTREMISTS.

After nearly a week of stop-work meetings, the water supply and sewerage employees struck. The outlook is grave, as the strikers are endeavouring to get the associated unions also to cease work. The strike, which is disapproved by the Trades Hall leaders, was engineered by extremists.
