The " Daily Chronicle's " Berlin correspondent understands that a series cf most important Cabinet meetings are to be held during the week, at which President Ebert will preside, when the German policy will be completely reviewed. It is anticipateu that Herr Strcsemann's next speech to the main committee of the Reichstag will be delivered as soon as possible after the French reply and will deal outspokenly with the whole reparations problem on the lines determined by the Cabinet. Herr Stresemann intends to tolerate no conversations between French and German industrialists and others, but to retain full control himself. FRENCH REPLY TO-DAY. APPROVAL OF BELGIUM. (Received Tuesday, 5.40 p.m.) . PARIS, August 20. M. Poincare's reply to the British Note will be banded to Lord Crewe on Tuesday. The French Government will publish a Yellow Book on Wednesday, containing both Lord Cuizon's Note and M. Poincare's reply. It is understood Belgium approves the substance and form of the reply.
