DACOITS’ RAID.

INDIAN POSTMASTER SHOT

Four armed Dacoits raided a branch post office in Central Calcutta. The Indian postmaster, refusing to hand over the takings, was shot dea.d. The assailants, when retreating, fired at a passerby.

It is believed they failed to secure any booty. One of them has been arrestd.
