“SENSIBLE AND SATISFACTORY.”

ADMISSION TO RAILWAY STATION

“I don't think there would bo more than 20 people who would go on to the railway platform if they had to pay 6d, whicth is a manifest convenience, as It would prevent the overcrowding of tho platform by people having no business there,” observed Mr .1. H. Stevens, at the meeting of tho Chamber of Commerce last night. Mr J O’Shea, statiommaster, stated that he had given instructions that all clergymen, nurses and well-known business people, having bona fide business on the station, were to be admitted_ Business people could gain admittance by giving their name and stating their business. “That is very sensible and satisfactory,’’ remarked the chairman.
