Re RANGIOTU DRAIN RESERVE I.(.)AN £2OO. |"VTOTICE is hereby given that the ' following Special Order was passed [at a Special Meeting of the Board on the 11th June. 1923, viz.: In pursuance, and in exercise of the powers vested in it by Sub-Section (e) of Section 16 of "The Local Bodies' 'Loans Act. 1913," and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling, the Manawatu Drainage Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: — That for the purpose of constructing flood-gate and stop-bank and re-j forming drain running through lands, known as 3G 2B Lower Aorangi Block ' IV Mt Robinson Survey District the; Board do raise a Special Loan to be I known as the Rangiotu Drain Reserve Loan of Two hundred pounds ! (£200) repayable together with the [interest thereon at £4 10/- per centum j I per annum by half-yearly instalments |of Five pounds twelve shillings and 'two pence on account of Principal and Interest payable in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan being a period of thirty-six and one half years (3GA) or until the loan is fully paid off. THAT the security for payment of principal and interest on the said of Two hundred pounds (£200) shall be a SPECIAL RATE of Three tenths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property within the Rangiotu Drain Reserve Special Rating District. THAT the cost of raising the loan and the first year's interest and sinking fund shall be paid out of the loan. ' AND it is the intention of the Board to confirm such resolution at the ordinary monthly meeting of the Board to be held at the Board's Office, Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, at 10.30 o'clock of the forenoon on the 6th August, 1923.
