NOTES. Stmny Yale is still unlucky. Tigcrland’s victory in the Wanganui Steeplechase proved that all the good things said about him lately were correct. Militairo was not long in making good over hurdles. He is the right’ type and is likely to earn further distinction at the new business. Rouen paid a good price yesterday. He is right back to his best' form. Quest is racing consistently. Pouma paid a large double-figure dividend yesterday* Ardour has been working well on tSie Riccarton tracks. The Ashburton meeting opens today. Among the “pressing” questions of the hour, where does your suit stand? Why not have it rejuvenated in the Hoff-man steam press at Collinson and Cunninghame’s. Sterilised, pressed and rejuvenated for 5/. Trousers for 2/.*
