POINTS PRIZE. < The following points prizes have been awarded in. connection with the Horticultural Society’s autumn show, which was held at the Empire Hall on Wednesday:—Open class: Mrs Gillies 23. Cottage gardeq class: Mrs J. Gal. land, 30. Novice class: R. Rule and W. Rutherford 11 (equal). Vegetables; G. T. King, 36. Fruit (amateur): Mrs Earner, 9; commercial growers’ section: T. F, Conway, SG. Domestic: Mrs H. Clarke, 27. Decorative, Mrs T. Fauldlug, 26. The winner of the cake, guessing competition was Mrs Arlidge i the actual weight being 31b 3oz.
