The Altorncy-General lias appealed to the House of Lords against the Appeal Court decision in the case of Art O’Brien. He declared the matter was urgent and asked for an early hearing. Lord Birkenhead said that as the issue involved the gravest public consequences, he would take the case on Monday, and sit day by day till it was concluded.
