FOUND GUILTY AT CHRIST. CHURCH,

[Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night

Alfred Le\vis < a young man, who ad. vertised himself widely in 1921 as being ablt to cure disease in all its forms, and who set up business in Hereford Street, was found guilty in the Su. preme Court of having obtained £33 from Flora Hill, by making a false representation. In returning a verdict of guilty, the foreman of the jury added: "And at tho same time the jury wish to express the opinion that the authorities should take immediate steps, or should have legislation passed to find out the qualifications of masseurs, and others." Accused was remanded for sentence.
