The Autumn Show was opened in the Drill Hall yesterday in fine wea. tlier. Taking it as a whole, the dis. p'ay of flowers was exceedingly tine. The entries were large and the comn petition keen. A feature of the show ' was tlie decorative class, which hag s always been a strong point and the laa dies showed very great taste in their V arrangement of the' flowers, e The judges were: Decorative, Airs. 0 Stubbs, Wanganui; cut flowers, Mr. S Black, Palmerston North; fruit and vegetables, Mr. A.
