R.S.A. CONCERT .
FOR NEW ZEALAND'S BLIND. For the benefit of the Sir Arthur Pearson Memorial Fund for the Blind, a concert Avas held under- the aus !2 pices of the R.S.A. at the Aimac Club last night. The response to the ap- ir peal cannot be called anything short ‘ of most disapoplnting. This is more particularly so, in view of tie fact n that apart from the great worthiness S 1 of ihc cause, a very fine programme I* AA r as supported by a strong body of lo- v, cal and visiting talent. The artists Avere Mrs P. C. Nash, Misses O’Brien, I. Ashworth O. Bett. Rowlands, and Messrs F. G. Bourke and S. Carson A (songs); Messrs C. J. Houston, A. W. and E. R. Chapman (comic songs), and Mr G. Titchener (sketches and .P stories). Mrs B. J. Jacobs and Mr .1 Speight were at the piano.
