IRISH REPUBLICANS.

ANOTHER COUP IN DUBLIN. PARTY REINFORCED FROM PROVINCES. DE VALERA, THE “DIE-HARD.” [By Electric Cable —Copyright.] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Received Monday, 7.30 p.rn.) LONDON, Nov. 13. Dublin rebels are tiaout to attempt a coup which will re-establish conditions resembling those prevailing previous to the truce of 1921. Already a sinister increase in their activity is ob- [ served. The rebels are apparently ! strengthened by bold, determined men fresh from the lighting in the provinces, but their numerical strength in Dublin is unknown. They initiated this week’s campaign, which reveals a persistence that is not affected by reverses, as was the case elsewhere. During the week-end, they partially wrecked a passenger train travelling from Dublin to Ballina. There were no deaths, but many were injured, and some stations were ! stroyed. The bridge between Langford and Cavan was blown up. Mr De Valera sent a message to the Irish Convention at Glasgow, indicating that the rebels were determined to pursue their campaign. He says: "It is better to prevent the consummation of wrong than to allow wrong to be completed. No power can compel our allegiance, if we refuse to give it. Without Irish aid and co-opera-tion, not all the resources of England could make a King’s writ run in Ireland. What we cannot wrest back of our own from England she may have. We may let her keep it temporarily, but we must not give her the title to any part not hers, and must not make it hers by our own deed.” ERSKINE CHILDERS ARRESTED. LONDON, November 10. Dir Erskine Childers has been arrested at Wicklow. Attacks on various Dublin Nationalist barracks were resumed last night, mainly in the vicinity of the Wellington Barracks. Nationalists afterwards raided the rebel quarters, where a quantity of material and documents were seized.
