The hockev competitions will be commenced on the. Sportsgrounds at 2 pm. Five, teams have been accepted for the men’s competition, while there are six teams engaged the ladies’ division. Entries for the W * U e« !day competition were extended to Monday. It was agreed to draw the a ttention of Club members to the method of effecting insurance to Mayors. The Wellington, Poverty Ray. Hawke’s Bay and Wanganui Associations .are to be written to with regards to securing representative games with 'Manawatu representatives. It was agreed by the Referees’ Association to send a Pa merston North referee to Rongotea, as advice had been received to the effect that there were no referees in the Rongotea disitrlct.
