Tile annual match between the two Schools was played at -Napier on Wednesday and Thursday, and provided a most exciting- contest. I'almerston opened badly, Kells being bowled by Beuth first, ball. The Napier bowling was tirst-ciass and the visitors had seven wickets down for 68 when Aim joined Saywell and saved the situation.
