The only change is the appointment of Mr Kavanagb, who has been acting-Minister of Labour, and now takes complete control of that Department, while Mr McGirr devotes his whole time to the administration of the Departments ol Health and Motherhood. The Assembly sat for one hour. Mr Bagnall stated that in future be would judge the Government’s merits by its legislative proposals, but he would not accept nomination to the Speakership in the event of Mr Levy resigning. Mr Dooley, in reply to Sir George Fuller, who asked what business the Government proposed to bring forward, said he would endeavour to make a statement on Thursday. Ho added that the Government agreed with Sir George Fuller that the elections should be held as soon as practicable. The Coalition agreement provides for the maintenance, as separate entities, of both Party organisations and the allotment of five portfolios to Progressives. If the Coalitionists are returned to power, the policy of decentralisation is to occupy the foremost place on the platform terrrTS of the Coalition for the life of the forthcoming Parliament;
