MOTORCYCLE FATALITY.

A motor cycle accident that terminated fatally occurred at Maharahara at an early hour on Saturday morning - . A young: man named Samuel Smith, aged 21 years, who was cmployed by Messrs Gibson 73r05., left on an Indian motor cycle between font and five o'clock in the morning, with the object of procuring assistance for milking from a neighbour—Mr H. Sharplin. He was within a chain or two of Mr Sharplin's house when hisi cycle struck a stone, and he was thrown violently on to a log by the side, of the road. A portion of the log penetrated his skull, and he was picked up in an unconscious condition. He "*vas removed to the Danncvirke "hospital, where he died about six o'clock in the evening.
