FEILDING STOCK SALE.
("Times" —Special.) At the Feilding Stock Sale yesterday, there was a good yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle, dairy stock, forward predominating. In the sheep section hoggets showed a drop on late rates of from 1/, 1/6, but ewes with lambs were slightly better. Fat sheep prices were well maintained. The cattle sale was a poor one. Only the very best of the dairy offerings, drawing competition. The yarding of stores was a rather scraggy lot, and did not sell at all well. SHEEP. Fat hoggets to 13/10; heavy fat shorn ewes to 15/5; fat shorn ewes to 12/6; £at woolly ewes, 12/1, 13/3, 14/10 to 15/10; fat wethers 17/ to 17/6; fat maiden ewes 15/ to 16/; empty ewes 8/9 to 10/6; hoggets 7/9, 9/ to 10/6; aged ewes and lambs 11/10 to 14/G; shorn mixed 2ths 11/. CATTLE. Springing heifers up to £2O, average of £l4; weaner heifers, Shorthorn 21/ to 30/; 2-yr-old ditto, 34/; 2-yr-old dairy sorts £4/12/ to £5/3/; fat cows £7/10; 3-yr Friesian bull £5/10/; young Jersey bulls £l2 to £lf
